The Shape of Water

The water cycle is intricately linked to the march of human progress.This most precious of resources is used in all manner of industrial processes from food production to hydroelectric power. 
I shot this series of pictures on a roadtrip through Scotland as part of an ongoing project to portray the different ways in which water is interconnected with life on earth.
